Hi,
What I have now:
What I would like to have:
I have already configured issue status change screen with different reasons to check. But I have no idea how I can add the reason to predefined message. Is there some kind of message variable like we have in service desk notifications to do something like that:
"This issue was rejected due to ${checkbox.item.2}"
I have Jira Service Desk server 3.13

Hey Seweryn,
Jira / Jira Service Desk out-of-the-box doesn't provide this functionality. However, several marketplace add-ons can get you where you need to be. Just like you mentioned, variables can be referenced by a few add-ons during a workflow post-function. Here's an older Community thread discussing how to do this with Jira Misc Workflow Extensions. The JMWE documentation shows that this is probably even easier than that 2014 thread:There might be other add-ons in the marketplace that provide the same functionality. JMWE is just the one I know off-hand. You can search around on Marketplace as others like ScriptRunner, Jira Suite Utilities, Jira Workflow Toolbox, etc. probably can do the same thing.
Cheers,
Daniel
