Is it possible to limit the visibility of an internal comment to a certain group in JIRA Service Desk?
Note: Most of our Service Desk customers have a Jira license and are within our company.

The comment visibility depends on which type of project you are using, if you are using Jira core/Software then you get the option to restrict with particular group /role but if you are using jira service desk there will be a little bit different rather than option you can share as an internal or with the customer.
At this time it is not possible with SD project, you can find a future request for the same, please vote for this so that you will get the notification about this.
