I have created a custom e-mailaddress in a Service Desk project, which can be used for customers to send emails to a support e-mailaddress. That works.
But when I reply on a customer ticket, in the reply e-mailaddress, the jira@xxx.atlassian.net e-mailaddress is been used. And I want to have the same e-mailaddress to show up as customers mail to.
I read something about a domain ownership... but it's not very clear for me.
Can anyone explain me in detail how to set this up?
I think it's far more better to have your e-mailaddress as repond address, then the jira.
Hello Arno,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
On Jira Service Desk it's possible to change the Project email address in order to send notifications with a custom email, but in order to do that, it's necessary to prove that own the domain by verifying it.
You can find all the steps to verify the domain and to change the project email address on the documentation below:
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Angélica
