We run the JIRA service desk in the cloud.
We use two types of processes. Helpdesktask and Change Request.
Each type uses its own workflow.
How can I change the type from "Helpdesk" to "Change request" in a task?
I don't find an option to change type and workflow in the transitions in Workflowdesign.
--> OK, i read that this is not possible. The workaround with mooving the issue works, BUT, if i moove an issue, i loose the request type. I found no automation rule with which i can set the type at mooving an issue.

if I have understood your requirement correct, you would like to change the issue type while transitioning an issue.
Can you give me a detailed explanation, why you would like to do this? Then I can probably help you more specific.

not the issue type, but the request type.
The issue type is changed during mooving, the request type (from portal) not.

The Request Type (internal Custom Request Type) is in a 1:1 relation with the issue type. In my JSD instance this field is visible but locked for any changes. So in the end there will not be any automation rule to do this job: changing Custom Request Type while keeping the Issue Type.
