I have a couple of clients reporting that the portal is difficult to manage as there are a lot of old tickets showing.
I cannot see this from the client's view and are uncertain exactly what they mean.
As a Jira admin, am I able to view the portal from a customer's perspective to see exactly what they see and find a way to manage this?
You can certainly simply bookmark the portal url and access. If you want the full experience create a gmail test customer.
So I need to use a new email address and assign myself to that customer so I can view what they see? There is no way to view that as an admin.

You can certainly access the portal but what you see may be different than any one individual customer. For example as an admin you will see all projects while a customer will only see the project they have access too.
have you attempted to access the portal?

If I access the portal while I am logged into Jira, I am presented with our branded portal. However, I cannot see any requests from anyone. Obviously I can see these within Jira, I was just hoping to see what the clients saw.

that is what I would expect. I wish an admin could log in as a customer but that isn't possible today - JSDCLOUD-5486
you can vote/watch that issue. you will note there are very few votes so I would not expect to see anytime soon given the long list of outstanding requests. then again, one never knows. :-)

I thought that might be the case, but thought I would ask in case I was missing something. Thank you for your help.
