Hello, everyone,
I have a project where fields from Jira tickets have to be exported to Excel in order to forward this data to financial accounting. It would now be important to somehow mark the tickets that have already been exported so that it is clear which data has already been processed. I currently solve this manually via a bulk operation, but this is cumbersome and can sometimes be forgotten.
Is there a way to automatically mark the affected tickets during the export process, i.e. to have a field set or to start a workflow transition?
I am happy about every suggestion and idea
You can solve this with the Better Excel Automation app.
The "mark what was exported" part can be solved by adding another action to the end of the automation rule. It could add a comment to the issue, add a label "already-exported" or even transition to the issue. To me, because the issue should take a new status, transitioning it sounds the most intuitive.
(Discl. it is an app developed by our team.)
