Automatically copy data from a Select List (single choice) to a Select List (cascading)

We're trying to use a single choice list to help the customer choose a specific item but in the SD we use the Cascade list to filter/queue. Any way to do this with Scriptrunner or Automation for Jira? (We have both Add-ons).
