When a client or end-user opens a Jira ticket through the Support Desk portal, is there a way to automatically capture and auto-populate their organization name in the ticket?

If the user is part of the organization the organization will be added automatically.
If you want to add an organization that is not associated with the user, you can use automation rules, since this is not possible by default you will need to use "automation for Jira"
When issue created
Reporter matches -> desired user
Then edit issue -> organization

I am trying to set this up, but based on what you have here would I have to do this for each individual user? I already have organizations set up. And customers in my organization but when my agents create a ticket on their behalf the organization does not auto-fill. I think what you have would work but I would have to do that for every single customer, yes?
