Hey everyone,

Was wondering if you can help.

I've set up both Classic and Next Gen projects for Jira Service Desk however as a business we believe the future may be moving towards next gen so we'd like to use that.

On my Classic project I am able to transfer issues/tickets to other queues by changing the 'Request Types' from the agent side of JSD.

I don't seem to be able to do this with Next Gen. Is this possible? When I create a new 'Request Type' I can't specify what 'Issue Type' to use.

Hi @Harry Bob ,

You can add more request types to your service desk to distinguish different tasks in unique ways and present different forms to collect the right information from your customers. Please review the documentation at the below link.

Thanks,

Hi Amith,

Thanks for your reply. I am aware of how to create the request type but these are still not transferrable to different queues.

Is there a way for me to do that?
