Allows clients login to customer portal once only

Rama
August 23, 2018

o Set up the base URL

o Added Client in JIRA ( Customers)

o Sent a Request to client

o The client is able to log in and submit a request.

The issue is the client can only log in for the first time and submit a request but not able to re-login to the Client Portal

Our JIRA is on a self-hosted server.  We would like to configure the customer portal for clients so that clients can submit their requests.  Any help in setting this up is very much appreciated.

Thanks

Rama

Hi Rama,

When a customer or an admin create an account it's possible only to disable manually in the instance. There is no option on Jira to create, for example, a temporary account that they can only use once.

If you don't want them to use the portal, you can have a project that only accepts tickets by email, for example, so you can remove all request types of the portal and if they try to access, they won't see any forms, they will only see their open/closed requests.

Regards,
Angélica
