Add time tracking in service desk projects

Deleted user March 11, 2019

Hi Atlassian Community,

I have to monitor the required time to solve a Jira ticket from service desk projects.

I would like to have a counter for each Jira ticket which:

  • start when the ticket status goes to 'In Progress'
  • temporary stop on demand (e.g.: pending outside feedback) --> stop mode?
  • stop and close when the ticket status goes to 'Done'

Here, it's something different compare the use of SLA. I need a counter which starts and finishes.

Thanks and best regards,

Simon

Hello @[deleted]

From the docs

https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskserver032/setting-up-slas-828800707.html#SettingupSLAs-conditionsSettingupSLAtimemetrics

Here's you can setup your own counter which as described in the docs you can start, pause and stop

Thanks @Tarun Sapra , very useful!

I've got the below result:

screenshot_SLA.png

My question is now: how to display the consumed time?

In my case:

  • 03min for time to resolution
  • 02min for time to response
