I am able to add an announcement to the help portal. But is it possible to add multiple announcements?
Or what is the best way to keep customers informed about a issues about a application or system?

You could consider using the “Send email” function - Jira settings > System > Send email. In there choose project roles, select the project of interest in the drop down, choose Service desk customers as the role.
