I would like to add a field(Example: Fix version) from JIRA to JIRA service desk ticket so that customers can view in which release the fix is available.
Hi @Jital Jain
I believe your JSD tickets are linked to Jira issues like bugs or Improvements. When the issue is selected for fix adding a comment to the linked JSD ticket with the fixVersion seems like a good option. You can look at some automation apps to do it easily. May be create a transition like "Selected for Fix" and ask the user to fill in the Fix verison on the transition screen.

Thank you for your reply. When JIRA software bug is closed, developers add the field Fix version as a mandatory field in JIRA. I would like to add the fix version to the JSD ticket so that customers know the fixed version.

Hi Jital,
The only way to do something like that is via a comment to the issue. It's possible you could use "Automation for jira" to add in a comment about the fixVersion when the fixVersion is updated.

Thank you!
How can I add the fix version in the comments? I only have the option of adding text in the comments.
