We are using Jira Core 7.12.1 version, please advise  Script Runner for JIRA 5.6.12 version is compatible with my version or not.

Scriptrunner runs on the Jira platform, not the applications.  Your version of Service Desk (or Software) is irrelevant.  Check your version of Jira Core against https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6820/scriptrunner-for-jira/version-history
