I am encoutering the same issue as many, duplicated long lists of fields created in team-manged projects.
We use JSM, JPD along with Jira. The number of duplicated fields JPD causes is a mess.
I have eliminated our organizations use of team-managed projects because of the complications it causes, now to be hit with it with JPD and no abilty to control it.
With that, what might of been helpful is if we could write a JQL that included "project" and once you listed the field in question, it then provides the custom fields associated with that project, instead of all of them.
I am a very frustrated Jira admin. I love Jira but I am at a point of being configuration exhausted.
What are, if any, options for reducing the duplications caused by JPD?
