We are looking to use Jira Product Discovery to define our roadmap and communicate it out.  However, we currently leverage the capacity used in Jira Plans in an offline module to ensure we don't allocate too many ideas/initiatives to each release.  How can I do that all within Jira?

Currently, Jira Product Discovery doesn’t directly pull capacity from Jira Plans. To manage your roadmap within JPD while respecting capacity, you can export or reference capacity data from Jira Plans and manually adjust idea allocation in JPD. Another option is to use Jira Automations or a dashboard to highlight capacity limits alongside your JPD roadmap for better visibility.

Hey @Jon Brier, another approach that we have seen is the following:

While there are no native features for capacity planning in JPD, we've seen teams use the flexibility of the tool (custom fields and views) to do lightweight capacity planning - based on things like T-shirt sizes.

Here's a demo.
