JPD does not allow date differences in column formulas. Can you pls support that
I'm looking after Transformation at an Investment Banking Trading venue - we are adopting JPD in depth across our entire business but the ability to automatically discern if an epic has a task that exceeds the (manual) planned end date is not possible at the moment.
Appreciate your help and I am happy to be a customer advocate for you

Hey @Gavin Collins ,

I believe the JPD team is aware of this and that they have something in the backlog related to more robust date handling. đź‘€ JPD roadmap is not open to the public (at least not through JAC), so I cannot check if they actually have a ticket for it.

As a workaround, you could maybe explore Jira automation. Now, I haven't worked that much with automation in JPD, but maybe these links can help:

I'm also going to move this to JPD Q&A forum so maybe someone from product team can/will chime in here.

Cheers,
Tobi

Hey,

Yes, we are working on a way to access the delivery dates inside JPD.
