Sharing custom fields between projects

Hi, 

We have created custom fields (and tags within) for one of our projects and now want to share these same fields to other product discovery projects for consistency - cannot see how this can be done?
Can a custom field be set across multiple projects?

Hello Mark, 

Until very recently , it wasn't possible to share custom fields across team-managed projects, in any Jira products. As Jira Product Discovery projects are only team-managed, we inherited from this limitation. However since a few months you are now able to reuse custom fields in Jira Software projects. 

The Jira Product Discovery team is currently working on bringing this behaviour also in Jira Product Discovery projects. We don't have a full solution yet, but we are exploring what would be the best solutions in terms of experience. 

So short answer: it isn't possible for the moment, but stay tuned because we are working on it ;)

Any updates on this? We have many custom fields that we would like to share between our JPD projects.
