Multiple ideas per line in timeline view

How can we format the timeline view to have multiple ideas on a single line as in the screenshot below vs. each idea being on their own line?  I've been unable to figure out how to accomplish this.

Hi @Krista Seidl 

To show ideas back to back, you will need to disable Sorting in the view. After doing so, you'll be able drag ideas onto the same line.

Hi @Krista Seidl and welcome to the Community!

By default, every item is displayed on a separate line. However, when there are no overlapping dates, I was able to just drag an item onto the same line in the timeline manually, as you can see in this example:

It is not a configuration setting, just dragging the item onto the desired line.
