Insert JPD date fields in Confluence page

Edouard Parison
November 7, 2024

Hello,

I'm trying to display on a Confluence page a JPD date fields so my Confluence page reflects the latest date whenever it changes.
Is it possible to insert dates of a specific JPD item in Confluence?

Thank you!

Edouard

Hi @Edouard Parison

JPD uses its own date format, providing a date range.  If that was shown in a Confluence page view, it would appear like this:

{"start":"2024-07-01","end":"2024-07-01"}

Any built-in, global / company-managed fields will appear as a single date value.  For example, the Created and Updated fields.

Unfortunately, it appears that global / company-managed date or date / time fields cannot be added to a JPD project.

For a workaround, for a JPD date field to display as a date or date / time value, you could add a text field and use an automation rule to load the JPD date value into the text field whenever the date changes.  Then add that text field the Confluence page.

Kind regards,
Bill
