Idea Limits - is there a way to update?

It seems like we have a limit to the # of Ideas we can have in our project. Has anyone else run into this issue? Besides archiving tickets, is there any way around this limit or the ability to increase it?

I don't believe there is any limit to the number of ideas per project, but I can confirm with engineering.

What issues or errors are you having creating ideas? Maybe it's more of a performance thing if you have thousands of ideas in a view, and it's taking time for them to load?

Hi @Nick Haller, this is the message I see on top of PD now:

Your project has reached the limit of ideas. We will display the last 5,000 ideas for calculating the formula fields. Also, you can check all the ideas here. We advise that you archive or remove ideas that you don’t need anymore.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Engineering confirmed the limit for ideas per project is 5000, so we've updated the limits documentation to reflect this.

We do not have a way to increase this number at this time, so as you mentioned - the workaround might be to archive your ideas if they are no longer relevant or needed.

We’ve encountered the same problem here. We want every team member working on a single project to be able to work with our customers’ data with different views. JPD just suite this requirements very well until we reached the 5,000 limit. However, we will need to create around 10,000 ideas (records) in a single JPD project.

Could you let us know why there is a limit on the JPD side?
