How do you customize the fields shown as default when creating an idea?

When creating an idea, these fields are shown by default: Summary, Description, Goal, Effort, Roadmap, Documents

I don't want to have the Effort and Roadmap shown at default because that will usually be left blank until further discussions. How do I remove them in the default view? I still want to keep them as fields but not in the create idea view. Also there are fields that I would like to add that are not there.

I am looking something similar with Jira where you can customize the screen by choosing different fields.

To control the fields shown on the create idea form, I created a new view called "Idea Creation Form" and then under Project Settings > Create ideas I selected this view to base the form on.

I second Doug - the only downside to this is that if you are in a table view of JPD ideas, and click to add a new row (create idea), the template won[t be applied by default... only when you use the top level 'create idea' button does the template inherit by default.
