How can i set my Jira board to private?

So that only users can access my Jira Board that i actively added via mail invite

Closest thing would be setting the project's Access to Private. Only users added under this tab would be able to open the project.

They would not receive an email for being added to the project though. They would simply see it under their Projects tab within Jira.
