Feature Request: Simple Upvote Field

Within Jira Product Discovery, I see the 'budget voting' implementation for a 'voting' field. I see relevant discussion in this forum post also and a handful of other posts.

Is there really no formal request for a simple upvote type field? Where each user gets to vote for any and all ideas without a budget, with a max of one vote per idea? So either a user has voted for an idea or not.

As opposed to the architected 'budgeted voting'. I suspect it has its use-case (I have yet to discover it - admittedly it's still early), but I am surprised we don't at least have the option of using a simple upvote field, allowing us to choose budgeted vs simple upvoting.

Hello Ryan!

You can create a Reaction field and use it as a standard voting option in your space. Users will be able to vote and remove their vote using reactions.
