I keep hearing the same things from our Product and Engineering teams... They like JPD but would really like to be able to see all the Delivery tickets associated to each JPD item directly in their list views by clicking an "expand" button.
Is there any plan to provide such functionality?
The minimum requirements would be an expand option to display all associated Delivery tickets with the Key, Summary, and status for each ticket (along with a link to open each item).
I envision it looking something like the included image. Note: The "expand" carat could be next to the Key, Summary, or be like it displays next to Delivery tickets when viewing each JPD idea individually.
IMO - This would save people a lot of time and make the integration of JPD > Jira much more useful.
BTW, this is really only meant for the "list" type of view. I envision something different for "board" views.
Thank you for your suggestion. Noted!
Why do you want to see delivery tickets all in one place with ideas, in JPD? when would you look at everything together?
Thanks!
Apologies for the delay in reply...
We have differing audiences for JPD than Jira. While engineering mostly uses Jira, leadership likes to use JPD to view progress on Ideas/Initiatives. They continually ask for a way to see all work in a hierarchical view directly in JPD.
Leadership wants to see all the ongoing work, any risks, roadblocks, progress, etc. to see what's going one with all JPD Ideas/Initiatives they've defined for a particular timeframe. They do not want to open each JPD idea to view the delivery tickets for each item.
If you have any other questions or need more information, please feel free to reach out and I'll gladly provide them or even have a short call if that would be helpful.
