Date field filtering

Hi!

We need a way to filter by Date fields, and/or Group By Date fields.

There's no such way to do so currently (looking for a way to choose specific dates in a date format, rather than the "date starts within the next..." option currently available).

I searched the community and it seems it is an issue that many would appreciate.

So I have 2 questions:

1. Is there a workaround for now that will enable us to group our ideas by target dates?

2. I understood from other answers that changes for the date fields are on the roadmap, is there any concrete dates for this?

Vote for this. Also need way to exclude values when filtering.

We do quarterly planning and we need to filter ideas that are in scope for the upcoming or ongoing quarter (for follow up). I would love to do that with just date fields but problem is that I can't filter "already started" and "going to be started during the quarter" ideas at the same time. 

Example: Idea A is from December to March & Idea B is from February to April. I need to filter all ideas that are active during Q1. 

Workaround has been separate multiselect field where active quarters are added to the ideas (Idea A = 24Q4+25Q1 & Idea B 25Q1+25Q2). This causes new problems since I can't filter or group ideas based on the planned release quarter/date. I'm considering if we could just replace quarters by "now-next-later", but that requires some cultural change first..😅
