Create Idea form shortfalls

I'm experiencing a couple of shortfalls on the Create Idea form that contributors (not creators) can use to submit new ideas:

1. Insights is not an available field - contributors should be able to link to evidence/details on their new idea
2. It seems that mandatory fields are either all or nothing, not on a field by field basis

Am I missing something, or is this not currently available functionality?

Hi @Jaime Laird , you are right about #2, it's a limitation. 

As for #1, they can add the insight after creating the idea.

1. I know they can add the insight after creating the idea, but in reality they probably won't go find their idea and add it - it is much more streamlined to collect this info upon submission. I'd appreciate this being added to your product enhancement considerations (seems fairly simple to make this field visible to forms, speaking of course from an uneducated position).
2. Is this a form limitation across Atlassian, or isolated to JPD? Could it be considered as a product enhancement?

Regarding insights - I think the idea is that the contributors will be able to add these after they submitted the idea. Same goes for creators - they also can't add insights before the idea is created...

As for mandatory fields - it is a current limitation.

I would add also the limitation of having a single form, since many of our creators prefer the 'Create' button over the 'Create an idea' button (but need other fields to fill).
