Connection fields in Create Idea forms?

When I try to create a form for a view which has a connection field, that field does not show up on the form. I assume that's by design at the moment. Is there a plan for when this field type will be available on the forms?

@Tanguy Crusson the fields now show up on the form, however, for Contributors the connection fields look like this:

I.e. they are disabled. It seems that only Creators can edit these connection fields in the create form, which kinda defeats the purpose.

Is there a setting somewhere I am missing?
