Chrome plugin with Microsoft Word web app

When I highlight text from a Sharepoint word document opened in the online Microsoft Word editor, the text doesn't populate in the Chrome Extension - it just continues to say "Select text in your browser (optional)" despite the text already being selected

I had the same yesterday when I was using the Chrome Extension, would be interested in getting this working also. I didnt find a away to get around this sadly.

This was the very first thing I tried to do when I got access to Jira Product Discovery, since this will be a core use case for us.

We have customer notes captured in word docs in sharepoint, and I want to make insights based off that. Really hoping this gets resolved!
