Are you able to color a roadmap idea in jira product discovery timeline views?

I have a roadmap of about 30 roadmap ides grouped by a category drop down field attributte. Id like to have it displayed in a timeline view where each category roadmap idea is a different color on the timeline.  Is that possible?

Hello, 

You can color idea cards based on field by toglling on "Highlight rows and cards with thhis color" for each field option.

Yeah, that just colors the attribute header.  I am wonder if all the timeline view ideas can be colored as well.  See image.  See how the ideas themselves are not colored?

On the field option "Data Point Details View" , if you toggle on the "Highlight cards and rows as per my screenshot, this is what you get 

So in your case, or this option is not toggled on, or it's a bug, and in that case, you can open a support ticket so we investigate it https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

You might want to look at Millarum Roadmap, while the Roadmap view is different, the Roadmap itself can be colored with any custom color, it's just that a Roadmap will be a swimline build through Epics or Releases in regular Jira.
