Adding automation rule to the clone ticket

I would like to add the same automation rule to the ticket cloned. I create ticket ABC and rule is assigned to that ticket. And if I create a Clone ticket of ABC and rename to ABC-1, I would like to have automation rule automatically assigned to the cloned ticket ABC-1.

Thanks

Hello Sohail,

What is the trigger of your rule, and what is the rule?

Basically, a clone is just a new ticket. So if your rule is trigger regarding a field change for exemple, it cannot work just after the cloning. But if the trigger is simply a check on a value, you can specify this value during the cloning, and so it ill be triggered.

Hello @Sohail Alam

To automatically trigger a Jira automation rule on a cloned issue, you can try our app Deep Clone for Jira. Deep Clone allows you to provide the webhook URL for an Incoming Webhook Jira automation trigger that should be called on all cloned issues. You can read more on that here.
