How do you manage Atlassian IDs when you have multiple identities?

Until we can merge Atlassian accounts - or associate multiple emails with a single Atlassian account - what workarounds do you use?*

• If your company goes through a rebrand, or merges with another company - or both! - how do you deal with Atlassian IDs when they exist in both companies?
• If you're a Jira admin for multiple company brands/divisions, what Atlassian ID is your canonical ID?
• Day-to-day, how do you work when you have multiple Atlassian IDs for different purposes?
