Forge App Jam #2 – Automatically Remove Incorrect Links (Hands‑on)

Join us for the second session of our Forge App Jam livestream series – still fully hands‑on: IDE open, code on screen, install the app, and test it live on a real Jira site.

In this episode, we’ll build and explore how to automatically remove issue links using Forge Jira events:

• A Forge app that scans for invalid or unwanted links - for example, links that don't match your team’s workflow rules.

• Automation logic to safely remove those links – walking through how to decide what’s “incorrect” for your team, and how to enforce those rules without breaking existing relationships.

• Discuss how the same logic can be used to to restore links that were deleted by mistake and should not be removed.

Follow along to see the full setup, configuration, and testing flow, and leave with patterns you can adapt to keep your own Jira issue links clean and trustworthy.
