Downtime for Jira and Confluence upgrades during maintenance windows

Atlassian will be performing platform-level updates to our cloud infrastructure in upcoming weeks, which will result in some downtime for Jira and Confluence.

The upgrade will take place during nominated maintenance windows for each cloud site and will result in at least 10 minutes of downtime. In some cases, the upgrade may take longer to complete.

As part of our ongoing commitment to secure your content, we're encrypting Jira and Confluence databases at rest and any replicas and snapshots at rest during the upgrade.

For customers whose upgrade will take longer than their scheduled maintenance window, Atlassian will reach out to technical contacts directly and manage the update during periods of low customer activity.
