Can I rename an attached photo (in a JIRA ticket)?

* Step one, take a screenshot of something you're working on

* Attach it your JIRA ticket

* Notice that you didn't give it a descriptive name, it's just "Time and Date.png"

* Is there a way to rename the photo attachment in the ticket? If there is, I couldn't find it.

* That would be so much easier than renaming the image file BEFORE I upload it to JIRA. But it also means JIRA needs to have a UI for renaming files.

As I found, currently this is not possible. there is a feature suggestion regarding the exact same requirement your mentioned.

I agree with having this. It's just a bit silly that you manually have to use time renaming the photo files before uploading. Takes times and ressources... Trello does this very well...
