Tasks are being moved to other locations after I save my Gantt chart

I had to re-place many tasks in my Gantt chart after saving and reopening. Is there a setting or configuration that is causing this?

I assume by Gantt Chart you are referring to Jira Aligns "Live Roadmaps".  Did you press the Sync button?  That is what saves your changes.
