Agile teams and business owners gain three main benefits from tracking risks. First, flagging a risk during the PI planning process ensures impact and ownership for mitigation are well understood. Second, the added visibility ensures the entire team is alert to the risk and monitoring it during the PI. Third and last, the entire team is properly equipped and informed to address the situation with suitable mitigation, should the need arise.
