How to load existing customer/people records?

Rod
January 8, 2019

We have existing customer records from a different project and is testing Service Desk.

How can we preload their records into the Customers list without them starting all over again? i.e. Without waiting for the customers raising a new request.

Maybe around 5000+ customer?

Hello Rod,

Thank you for getting in touch with Atlassian Community!
Just for us to better understand and help you with this question, we just would like to confirm if records mean only their accounts or if you need to move their tickets from one project to another.
If you need to add their accounts from one project to another, the best option is to make a list of all emails and separate them with a comma, then you can add this list that will create all accounts:

As you have many customers, we suggest adding 1000 by 1000 to avoid any timeout that Jira may have.

Regards,
Angélica
