Free Power BI Template for Jira (open-source .pbit)

Hi Community,

I’m sharing a free Power BI template (.pbit) to accelerate Jira reporting. It’s open-source and designed for the current Jira REST API.

What you get

• Preconfigured data model for Jira issues.

• Parameters you can edit at load time:

  • JiraBaseUrl

  • JQLFilter (filter ID or JQL depending on your use)

  • PageSize (recommend 100)

  • Fields (comma-separated list)

• Starter visuals you can extend.

Compatibility

• Works with new API (jql?jql=) with PowerBi Online and Desktop

Quick start

1. Download JIRA FONCTION.pbit from the repo.

2. Open in Power BI Desktop and fill the parameters (your Jira URL, filter/JQL, etc.).

3. When prompted, choose Basic auth. For Jira Cloud API token.

4. Load and customize your dashboards.
