I'm creating a schema to store application definitions for use in JSM tickets. Many of the applications are known by different names. I'd like to standardize the application name in JSM for reporting. Is it possible to create an attribute of alias names that could be searched to arrive at the standard application name?
I was thinking of creating a schema of alias application names and link them to the standard name. Is there a better way? I tried creating a new text attribute in the object schema for alias names, but I am unable to search for the alias.
