Call for Show & Tell Presenters!

Our first Atlassian Higher Education Community Group Show & Tell event in July was a great success! We received a lot of positive feedback from attendees who appreciated the opportunity to see how peers across higher education are using Atlassian tools to solve real challenges, streamline processes, and deliver value to their institutions.

Building on that momentum, we're looking for presenters for our upcoming September Show & Tell event, as well as future sessions that are still being planned.

Do you have an innovative solution, clever automation, or a best practice that's made an impact at your institution? We'd love to hear about it!

Presentations can be brief (5-10 minutes) and informal. The goal is to learn from one another and spark new ideas across higher education.

Some examples to get you thinking:

  • A Jira Service Management workflow that improved the student, faculty, or staff experience
  • Creative use of Assets, automation, or forms
  • Integrations between Atlassian tools and campus systems
  • Governance, project intake, or portfolio management approaches that have worked well
  • Confluence spaces or knowledge management strategies that increased adoption and engagement
  • Dashboards, reporting solutions, or metrics that help demonstrate value
  • Lessons learned from a recent migration, implementation, or major process improvement
  • AI-powered workflows, agents, or automations using Rovo or other tools

Don't worry if your solution isn't "perfect" or highly polished. Sometimes the most valuable conversations come from sharing work in progress, challenges you've overcome, and lessons learned along the way.

If you're interested in sharing, please reply below or reach out directly with a brief description of your topic.

We look forward to learning from the amazing work happening across the higher education community!

I’m currently a student who has seen firsthand how powerful Atlassian tools are for managing projects, collaborating, and staying organized—yet my own university hasn't adopted them simply because they aren't fully aware of what the ecosystem offers.

I’d love to present at an upcoming Show & Tell to share a slightly different perspective: The Student Experience.

  • The Student Angle: How I personally leverage Atlassian tools for academic projects, student organization management, and workflow planning.

  • The Campus Gap: Where traditional university systems fall short in student-faculty collaboration, and how Atlassian tools could bridge that gap.

  • The Vision: How sharing these real-world use cases can raise awareness at universities like mine, helping convince campus leadership to modernize their tech stack.

Beyond presenting, my ultimate goal is to pioneer Atlassian community events on my campus to educate fellow students and faculty on modern DevOps, agile project management, and collaborative workflows.
