How can I add a new custom status to my project?

The current statuses are good, but I want to add a new custom status to my project.

Can you please tell me how to do this?

I see that they have removed Atlas as a Product already, I assume preparing to absorb it into the Jira as the first "Platform Experience", whatever that means.

Not sure where to look for future updates, or roadmap in that case now?
