Goals and Projects data now supported in data shares

Hi Goals and Projects community! πŸ‘‹

Big news for those of you who rely on external data tools and pipelines - Goals and Projects data is now available in Atlassian Analytics data shares.

If you've been using Atlassian Analytics to query your Goals and Projects data, you'll know how powerful it is to connect strategic objectives to the work happening across your organisation. Now, you can take that data even further - exporting it directly into your own data warehouse, visualising it in BI tools, or use it in custom infrastructure via data shares. This has been a highly requested capability, and we're excited to get it into your hands.

What's available?

You can now access Goals and Projects data through data shares - giving your data teams direct access to the Atlassian Data Lake. Your preferred tools might already have a native connection like Databricks or Power BI. You can also use scripting (Python, Spark) to push the data to any system, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, and more.

Are they available via "Rovo" MCP?

@Matt Richards Goals and Projects will be supported via MCP later this year (in Q1, between July - September). We will start by supporting basic CRUD functions. Are you able to share specific use cases and functions that would be useful for you? We are actively taking in feedback to support our roadmap for MCP at the moment.
