@David Nadri Yes, I guess it all goes down to: will people have to do a lot of additional work themselves to feed those fields and updates or is it able to digest information from existing work items and display that in a very quick and informative manner? Later would mean that rovo is doing the work.

Otherwise I could add the fields to a work item type called "project" and create a blog in confluence. Project leaders can write updates as comments and followers can add themselves as watchers to receive them. Not so different.
