custom field in focus not responsive, It barely appears as a text instead of a field

Hi, Im trying to add custom fields in Focus by Jira. 

But the field appears as a mere text, and not as a field. 

Also when clicked on edit; the only things editable are its name, field type and description.

Can you please elaborate on your use case on where you are trying to use the field, based on the screenshot, is it in side page under sub Focus area? or from the table

For editing, have you tried editing it from the Focus area itself?

Yes, I have tried editing from the focus area itself, here it appears as a simple text, unlike a field.
