Hello everyone! We’re excited to share that you can now start drafting focus area status updates with Rovo. This is a beta feature that’s now available to everyone with Rovo access enabled.
As a leader responsible for a Focus area, you know the drill; every update cycle means manually visiting each goal, project, and sub-focus area to piece together what’s on track, what’s at risk, and what needs attention. That aggregation work can take hours before you’ve even started writing.
With Draft update, you can generate a structured update directly from your Focus area view with a single click. Rovo synthesizes the latest updates from your:
…into a clear, scannable draft that highlights progress, key risks, and where attention is needed.
Navigate to your Focus area
Select Draft update (you’ll see this button if you have permission to create updates and have Rovo access enabled)
Review and edit the draft inline
Publish when you’re ready
You’re always in control: Drafts are a starting point, and you can edit them before publishing.
Source links included: Every goal and project mentioned in the draft links directly to the source so you can verify details.
The quality of your AI-generated update depends on the quality of updates written to your sub-focus areas andd connected goals and projects. The more your team keeps those objects current, the better your drafts will be.
This is our first step toward improving the overall efficiency of using Focus. We’re eager to hear how this fits into your update cadence and what would make it even more useful. Let us know in the comments.
Thank you for being part of the Focus community!
