Why are Crucible email notifications so delayed?

When a review event happens (review is started, comment is added, etc), my team and I don't get email notifications until ~10 minutes later. Does anyone know why this is and/or if it can be changed?

Hey Ryan,

I believe you are experiencing expected behavior to prevent email spamming. According to

Changing your user profile, it can take up to 30 minutes:

Batch Notifications will be sent out by Crucible every 30 minutes.  All notifications will be rolled up into a single digest e-mail.

Although in reality, usually it's faster depending on your role within a review. So for instance the author of the review will receive the email first, and the reviewers will wait a little longer (from 2 to 10 minutes). Unfortunately, this is not something that can be configured. I hope that helps clear things up!
