UPGRADE/MIGRATE CRUCIBLE/FISHEYE ON NEW HOST

Krishna Molugu
March 18, 2022

Hi,

We are planning to migrate our crucible/fisheye on new host from 4.6.1 version to 4.8.9, along with it we have sql server upgrade also. Are there any steps for upgrading crucible in this scenario. We tried installing new version of crucible on the new host and also we copied our old sql server back up to sql server 2019 version. we tried running the fisheyectl.sh using the backup file from the old one and using the new jdbc url of sql server 2019 version. Though it says ugrade is successful. I am not seeing any data from the old database. what is the process to upgrade in this scenario. Any advise would be really helpful. Thanks.
