Jira still shows commits on repositories removed from Fisheye

I have my Fisheye server linked to Jira Cloud via application link.

I removed some repositories in Fisheye, but any issues that are linked (via commit messages that reference the issue tags) are still showing the number of commits. If I go to view them then no commits are available / there's an error shown.

I tried unlinking and relinking the applications but this didn't help.

How can I remove the commit information? It seems to be cached at Jira, because when I look at the HTTP calls between Jira and Fisheye there is nothing when I first open an issue.

@Hamish Moffatt  I assume this is no longer an issue? if it is not the case please update this question.

I've removed my Fisheye integration since then, but I don't recall that the original problem was actually solved.
