Jira Integration Won't Accept My User

Oliver Hall
December 2, 2022

Hi,

I'm hoping to evaluate Crucible with Jira Software and I'm at the tantalising stage of running the setup wizard.

I have a valid evaluation licence

However, when I try to connect to our JIRA instance (JIRA cloud service) I am told that my user's password or admin role is invalid.

I've logged out, and back in to Jira to confirm I have the correct credentials, and my user has the all-encompassing site-admin role.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but is Crucible not compatible with a cloud instance?

Thanks,

Oliver

Hi @Oliver Hall ,

please try to read the following how-to article https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/link-to-server-apps-from-cloud-744721656.html it should help people on that.

Fabio

Hi @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ , I realise you're trying to help here, but this post is nearly 4 years old and I believe Crucible was moth-balled ages ago.  Needless to say, we moved on and the original post has no value.

Sorry @Oliver Hall , I hadn't noticed the date of the post . As they say...better late than never.
